Score context
Use an estimate to understand the level associated with a mock score.
Start with a timed baseline
Take one listening and one reading test without pausing to look up answers. Your first result gives you a realistic starting point and makes later progress easier to measure.
- Use headphones and a quiet environment for listening.
- Keep reading practice within the official 60-minute window.
- Record recurring errors instead of judging one total score.
Review before taking another test
The value of a mock test comes from the review. Identify whether an error came from vocabulary, inference, attention, audio speed, or time pressure, then practise that weakness before starting the next set.
Train the two receptive skills differently
Listening rewards anticipation and sustained attention because audio moves forward. Reading rewards scanning, evidence checking, and time allocation. A single generic study method is rarely enough for both.
Choose a full mock test or a focused skill session
A full timed TCF mock test measures endurance, section pacing, and consistency. Separate listening or reading practice is better for repairing one weakness. Alternate the two formats: diagnose with a mock, train the weak skill, then retest.
Use official information for decisions
Mock results are study feedback, not an official TCF Canada result. Confirm current test rules, registration details, score use, and immigration requirements with France Éducation international, an authorised test centre, and IRCC.

How many questions are in the official listening and reading sections?
France Éducation international currently lists 39 multiple-choice questions for listening and 39 for reading. The official time limits are 35 minutes and 60 minutes respectively.
Should I take a full TCF mock test or practise one skill?
Use a full timed mock to measure endurance and pacing, then use separate listening or reading practice to repair the specific weaknesses the result revealed before testing again.
Are these official TCF Canada exam questions?
No. TCF84 is an independent preparation service. Its mock questions are designed for practice and are not official exam questions or an endorsement by France Éducation international.
